Magnificent view and very nice location!

I loved the location of the hotel, we had a room with balcony and the view was so beautiful! Also, the rooms look way nicer that in the photos. We had a newly renovated room, on the same floor as the pool. Even though we didn’t get to take a swim in the pool, we spent some time on the terrace and again, the beautiful is absolutely gorgeous, and also the pool patio. We also liked the fact that the hotel is on walking distance to the main city areas and also it was very convenient that they a valet parking!

The breakfast was not that generous but it was ok

The location is great. Very light hotel. Welcoming staff.

Some issue with the window and air conditioning but it got resolved quickly. The room safe did not work

Unbeatable location, superb breakfast and very welcoming staff

Excellent location within easy walking distance to Corso Umberto, Greco/Roman theatre Antico, bus stops. Neighbourhood had a wide choice of restaurants, food markets and shops. The staff was really helpful and very friendly which added to the pleasurable experience of a visit to Taormina. The view was breath taking taking in the seashore and till top towns. The breakfast was simply terrific with a wide choice of food all of which was excellent.

The room could have had a mirror and easy chair to add comfort and convenience.

Nice place

Great and friendly staff. Balcony has nice view . Breakfast is excellent. Stop by at the bar after 5 PM for complacentry snack.

Location is a little bit off main road not easy to walk with luggage uphill if using bus . We had to take taxi to and from train station. Looks like place was remodeling few years ago.

What was the highlight of Splendid Hotel Taormina

Our stay was very enjoyable thanks to the excellent Thomas on reception.

It was comfortable with a balcony and a nice view. Generally cleanliness was good with excellent room servicing. Location was central but quite a steep climb to hotel but Taormina is up and down.

The room was too small. The television was single language Italian with no other language channels. The shower was a bit grubby and the toilet needed upgrading. The soundproofing was not good with bumps and speech transmitting at times although generally OK at night. The safe stuck twice. The beds were a bit small. Not enough hangers.

Great hotel with a pool with a view

Fantastic hotel with lovely employees helping out with everything you wish for (at least for us this was the case). Even though the hotel room was not the biggest we had, it was more than enough. Additionally, the hotel pool, which is warm, was just incredible - swimming, while having a great view and being able to order a drink from the bartender. The hotel's location is very convenient - close to the main area of Taormina. We only paid 98 for the night which was more than fair - but I would not go here in the main season when the prices skirocket.

The stuff that is served for breakfast was not incredibly good - The best option is the omelet which was done perfectly and very nice.

Location, walking distance to the main promenade and bus central station.

Bed/ mattress was very uncomfortable. There was no kettle, no possibility to make a tea/ coffee in the room. The only option was to order room service with very high fee. Balcony very small and narrow, not prepared and big enough for two people (one chair fitted). Decent customer experience, expected more considering price and 4* standard.

Modern and clean room with an outsanding view

Beautiful view, fantastic and clean room, friendly staff. The cakes at breakfast were also delicious and you could enjoy them with a very pleasant view of Taormina. It was definitely "splendid" ;)

Rooms pictures online look better and newer than the real rooms. The equipment is old and not exactly what i expect from 4* hotel. Didn't find even a 7.5place for my suitcase.

Would definitely stay again in Taormina

Such a beautiful hotel on the hillside with lovely views from the restaurant and the pool was the perfect place to relax. The staff were all very kind and helpful and my room was fantastic. Also the hotel scent is amazing and I wish I had purchased a diffuser of it!
